Giving birth to a new life is considered to be the most pious of all gifts that God has given to creatures. Women are obliged to receive this gift, but what may happen if they are deprived of this, because of an outcome of a natural process of due to an accident. The process of inability to become pregnant is termed as infertility. Medical science has devised many facilities to relieve the patient off this condition, but it is important to know the cause of infertility, especially in women. The infertility is categorized as primary and secondary. Primary infertility is one when the lady has not been able to become pregnant over 12 months of unprotected intercourse. Secondary infertility is one when the lady has been pregnant in the past, but has not been able to, the second time. Knowing the case is important as medication can be recommended thereafter. The main reason for infertility in women is due to emotional and physical reasons. The partner being infertile or possessing less sperm count are some other reasons of infertility. Hormone deficiency, pollutant contamination, rapid ejaculation and fear of sexually transmitted diseases are some other reasons to accredit.
